Fishy Cure For Psoriasis

Sufferers of psoriasis will do almost anything to find a cure for this unpleasant often itchy skin complaint.

One of the treatments being used today at some spas in Turkey is for the patients to immerse themselves or their affected limbs in the water with hundreds of Garra Rufa fish.

Anyone who has heard of the tiny fish will know that one of their nicknames is nibble fish given to them because they eat the affected and dead skin leaving healthy skin to grow. The treatment is painless but can be ticklish.

Although they are treating skin conditions such as psoriasis, in this way, there is no guarantee that it will be a permanent cure and many visits may be needed.

This treatment is also being used in some beauty salons to nibble away at the dead skin on clients feet.
